Even now, I still think this is one of my best overall CG works. Each color was done on a separate layer, and the shading was done directly on those layers while using a lot of the airbrush and dodge/burn tools to give it the more 3-D look while toning down the inked lines I'd scanned in for this. The result is certainly impressive, wouldn't you say? Everyone likes that flashy 3-D-styled stuff, so maybe that's why the full version of this is so popular.
