"Façade V: Mea Culpa" ("Blood on My Hands")

I don't know what compelled me to do something quite like this, but I guess you could just say that it was an interesting attempt to try something different. The image had been in my head for a little while prior to drawing this, and it took at least 2 or 3 tries before I got it to look anything like this. I guess what I wanted to show was more of a darker side to Jamil's personality, the type of thing we normally wouldn't see in GX.

I'm not sure if you can tell or not, but I totally flubbed on the coloring on part of the hand. My eyes were playing tricks on me when I was coloring it, and I ended up coloring the wrong part before I realized what I was doing. (That's what I get for trying to work on a drawing at about 3:30 in the morning . . . -_-;;) The rest of the hand and arm has issues too, which would make sense given my inability to draw a decent hand still. People seem to think that he's grabbing at his face, but I was actually trying to show him with him holding his hand up so that the angle of it covered half of his face while not touching anything. I've even had people complaining about why I didn't shade in the red areas for the blood and the scar--obviously, they failed to realize that this was supposed to be semi-abstract. And personally, I don't know why I shaded the hair the way I did when I shaded everything else in a different way. Just call it a force of habit, I guess. *shrug*

And why two titles? I simply couldn't decide on one or the other, that's all.
